It’s 10.34797507165 days until Pi Day, the March 14th (get it? 3.14?) celebration of everyone’s favorite irrational number.

Self-proclaimed writer/crafter/hustler/lover/dreamer/editor/photographer Alicia Kachmar has a great project for a somewhat experienced crocheter; a wee Pi. Find the free tutorial here. And for a song, you can download the whole family pattern from Alicia’s Etsy shop, Eternal Sunshine.

Too busy working out equations to make one this week? Alicia also offers premade Pi in all sizes. Viva la Pi!

    Viva la Pi indeed!

  2. Polly Conway says:

Alicia, I will say this: the usage of Pi is one of the last things I understood before my math career went WAY south after my sophomore year of high school! I have little warmth for most other numbers. :)

  3. Chanel says:

I fall in love with Pi dudes every time I see them! Lets stuff another pinata soon ;)

  4. Happy Pi Day! I’m bloghopping to see what crafters are up to. Love your Pi Family! Very Cute.
